Our sweet girl turned six on Saturday.

Sophie's choices this year-

birthday breakfast: pancakes with maple and berry syrup

daytime birthday activity: Living Planet Aquarium (she debated between friend party and aquarium, but in the end the thought of seeing penguins swim, touching sting rays and possibly getting a small stuffed ocean animal from the gift shop was just too exciting)

dinner menu: homemade individual pizzas, salad, variety of juices

dessert: yellow cake cupcakes with chocolate frosting and sprinkles

candy treat: Skittles

guests: don and jessica, mark and angie

Ariel again graced us with her presence.. she has made the guest list for the last 3 years :)

Everyone made their own delicious works of art...
The day was filled with smiles and laughter, fun and surprises, presents and yummy food...

just the way a birthday should be :)
