Crafting and Warm Fuzzies

Porter's snowman
i love how he chose the starry night paper for the sky.
Sophie's Snowwoman
Love the earmuffs!
I was struggling trying to help them cut little teeny circles for the mouths and eyes when Sophie said... Mommy, why don't we just use a whole puncher instead? So glad I have smart kids to help me :)

Here is our Warm Fuzzy jar...
(Ryan and I felt the need to implement this in our family's New Year. Winter can be long. We're indoors more and well... sometimes yes, we can get on each other's nerves)

This is how Warm Fuzzy jar works:
When you have good communication with your family (speaking kindly and in a respectful way, and listening thoughtfully) you earn a Warm Fuzzy. This is for mother and father and children alike. It is so fun to catch the kids doing good/speaking sweetly to one another and surprise them with a warm fuzzy! They like to reward me sometimes too saying things like, "Mommy that was so kind of you to speak so nice to Daddy." ;) Once the empty jar is filled with Warm Fuzzies, the reward is a fun family activity! Hooray for Warm Fuzzies!

I love the snowmen! I need to do more crafts with my kids. Their crafts are my favorite decorations.

I love the warm fuzzy jar! I'll have to remember that idea for when I have little ones :-)
