Summer is flying by as most summers do. Family, sunshine, swimming, picnics, baseball games, hikes, the park, warm breezy mornings with all the windows open, hot muggy afternoons and those amazing Utah thunderstorms that roll in and out, popsicles and sprinklers, trips to Cali, barbeque, and evening bike rides.
But so far the most wonderful thing has been welcoming our new nephew and cousin:

We love him! And though we haven't yet seen him in person, we can't wait to meet him in September! It's actually killing me to have to wait that long, but we have been enjoying lots of pictures and updates over the phone. Actually when we got that first sweet pic, of Molly with Ben on her chest just after birth, I burst into tears... so happy :) My sister is a mother! ... and she had that beautiful new mother glow holding her baby fresh from heaven.
Below are some pics from the night Ben was born. We knew it would be soon and since we could not be in Davis, Ca we thought it would be fun to gather and get the news together! So Don and Jessica came over and played and had dinner while we all waited for the call. The news finally came around 10:30/9:30 Cali time that Molly and Nick had just welcomed their first bundle of joy!
