a saturday in provo

We went car shopping in Provo a few Saturdays ago... Ry was in a car accident last month (not his fault) and the Camry was totaled. We were so sad to say goodbye.. it had been a good car, but we decided to turn the situation into a blessing in disguise... make lemonade out of lemons...
...we had a little left on the Cam to pay off, so with the money we received we paid our debt and are now looking for a car we can pay cash for with the remaining $.

So there were a couple cars in the provo/orem area we wanted to check out and so we decided to make a day of it! After looking at cars we stopped by Mark and Angie's cute place just South of campus. Angie had made delicious home made cinnamon rolls that Mark reluctantly shared with us :) They also treated us to fresh produce from their amazing little garden... I say amazing because of what they started with.... an incredibly tough, seemingly useless piece of land that they have transformed into a productive and peaceful retreat... very impressive guys!

After bidding farewell we took in scenes of campus, Y mountain and the fall colors, the temple, the stadium .... such good memories here... we of course also had to stop at The Creamery... and I had to get my favorite... Caramel Praline ... mmmmm. Sophie got Bishop's Bash and just thought that was hilarious! We savored our treats and then piled in the car for the trip home... Ry and I hand in hand over the center console.
