Kelsey & Co.: Sophie's baptism

March 2, 2013....

Sophie was baptized and confirmed a member of the

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

-By her father Ryan, with her mother, brothers, family and friends joyfully looking on.

Sophie shared the baptism program with two friends in the ward, who also have February birthdays! It was fun to share the day with these sweet girls and their families. Family, lots of friends from the neighborhood, stake and ward, and school and primary teachers came to support and show their love for these girls and their excitement for their baptism day.

Family photos at our house after the service. Grandma and Grandpa Sorenson and Uncle Mark drove all the way from Chico just for the weekend for the event. So grateful for their participation in the program and for their endless love and support.

Thanks to Janeva for being my pancake flipper for the hungry crowd.

And white Stock that lasted all week just so they could be beautiful for Sophie's special day.

Grammi and Popppi sent their love from Cali with these flowers that were like sunshine in a basket.

Sophie this day was so perfectly happy and lovely. There were tender mercies and tears of joy... And even your mother's prayer the night before on the homemade pancake recipe (that she quadrupled and thought she may have left out an ingredient) was answered. They were delicious! Photos cannot capture the strong Spirit that attended and the great love your family and God in Heaven has for you.
