My Little Brother is married! (my photos)

The day was beautiful and magical.  The fall colors were just beginning to burst forth on the mountains. The sky was dark and overcast, making the scenery and landscape more dramatic.  The venue was Log Haven in Millcreek Canyon.  Every detail was so perfect, and so them :)

The ceremony was sweet.  Of course I cried.  I sat between Mom and Dad and the kiddos.  Ryan and Nick were Don's best men and Molly was Jessica's Maid of Honor.  Just watching them all standing together made me realize the strength of friendship in our family...
The decorations were elegant, the details unique and fun, and the food... amazing!!!  My brother's culinary background is definitely a plus :)  Jessica was stunning, and as said before, every detail was perfectly them :)

I did not take enough photos... not even close to enough.  I was too busy enjoying my family, extended family, and watching the new couple.  There was dancing and cake and all the usual wonderful wedding stuff.  Ryan gave the most wonderfully touching toast!  It really was perfect... he hadn't planned one thing, but just spoke from his heart.  Afterward, all my aunts asked me how in the world I got such an amazing guy... thanks, I think.  I am blessed :)

One last thing:  I love my brother.  He is so good to me.  I have prayed over the years that Heavenly Father would always bless him for his goodness to me.  He is a super hero uncle and one of Ryan's best friends in the world!  I am so happy for he and Jessica.  Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Benson!

I refuse to use flash... it ruins the mood.  I know, I'm so weird ;)

Toward the end of the reception the bride and groom changed into their traveling clothes... they looked so cute!  We showered them with lavender as they hurried down the narrow path that led to their get-a-way car that would take them down the canyon...

What a night... right boys?
Seconds on cake I think.
