Sophie participated in her first Primary Program yesterday. She sang along to all the songs and even had a speaking part. She was asked to say her name and age and why she loves her mommy.
This is what she said:
My name is Sophie Sorenson and I am four years old. I love my mommy because.........because....ummmmm. Wait wait... oh yeah! My name is Sophie Sorenson and I am four years old. I love my mommy because she takes care of me and my little brothers. She prays with me and teaches me the gospel and sings me bedtime songs.
It was sweet.
I'm glad too that she did finally think of a reason why :)

You're right Melissa. I was trying to remember exactly what she had said. So I added the 'oh yeah' in the post. Thank you. You know she was so serious about her part. After the practice the week before she had come home and I asked her how it went and she said, "Oh it just didn't go as well as I had planned." She had in her mind exactly what she wanted to say and I'm glad on Sunday she was able to remember just what she had in her little heart and mind :)
