At first glance these pictures may seem to have nothing in common with one another.  But they do... they work together to sum up the past few weeks of life with the Sorenson Family.

I am pregnant!  Yeah!  I am almost 11 weeks and have been in the stages of extreme fatigue, mixed with nausea, mixed with I'm going crazy because I'm so tired of winter and being stuck inside.  I also have little energy to clean up these kinds of messes that happen through out the day (Cheerio spillage-courtesy of P).

Though the days are sometimes challenging, it is good to find joy in the small things of life and in every situation.  I am actually so grateful to be feeling the nausea with this pregnancy.  It helps reassure me that everything is going well.  I even found a bit of joy in this last snow storm we had.  We were driving home from downtown on Monday evening, the sky was so clear you could see forever and the newly dusted white mountains gleamed in the setting sun, a spectacular sight.

Our beautiful Draper Temple was dedicated this last weekend.  Ryan and I had the great blessing of attending the first dedicatory session in the Temple Friday morning, which included the cornerstone ceremony.  Marvelous experience!

Life is great when you count your blessings... but I am keeping my fingers crossed that spring will come to Utah soon.

Congratulations! I am so happy for you. Although I know it's never fun to be nauseated, I will pray that you continue to be so! I completely understand that feeling. It always brings me reassurance too. How memorable to be there for the first temple ceremony. Life is not without its simple rewards.
