We were so blessed to fly with the Valentiner's, Chris and the kids. I couldn't stop thanking Char all the way out. Every time I thought about the 10 or 11 hour drive and how we were not only avoiding it and flying, but flying right into Chico... thank you thank you thank you! Ryan was Niel's co-pilot on the way back :) Porter absolutely loved the experience!

The funeral was January 26 in Paradise, Ca. Family gathered to honor their mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and great-grandmother. Ryan was asked to speak at the funeral. He gave the most beautiful tribute as the oldest grandchild. When he sat down I told him that I had never been prouder of him!
